Dungeonmans is a roguelike in which you can create your own hero - warrior, mage, thief, cleric, etc - to explore an enormous world full of cities, dungeons, characters, and, above all, tons of enemies to fight.
You can build your own bastion within the world of Dungeonmans, turning it into an operations base from which to manage other characters. Of course, the main point of the game is to explore the world that surrounds you, full of dungeons, treasure, and danger.
Like any 'sandbox' game, Dungeonmans allows you to go wherever you want. That means that you can go slow and only enter dungeons with enemies and treasure adjusted to your current level, or strike out and end up in a place that you probably shouldn't have entered.
Dungeonmans has an important advantage over other titles of its genre: spectacular graphics. Like other roguelike games, it doesn't have animation, but its tileset is really well-done.
Dungeonmans is an excellent roguelike that features not only polished visual design and gameplay but also a truly colossal world. There are dozens of hours worth of content for anyone who can survive long enough to experience it all.
